3. Select ‘Playback speed’ from the menu.

4. Choose your desired speed from the options (e.g., 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x).

Are you using THIS superpower?

Do you wish you had a superpower? What if you already have one? You ever hear of those people who can speak 20 languages or speed-read, right? Well, I have something better—something you can do today that you already have tons of practice in: speed listening!

Ready? See if you can get to the end. Sometimes you talk to people who talk faster than normal, right? Then there are others who talk really fast, like this. Your mind has tons of practice adapting to the speed of your first language. Did you know you can train that to make it faster?

This be two times the normal speed rate—the max speed YouTube and Netflix will let you listen to on this platform. It may sound uncomfortably fast now, but I bet you can keep up. Close your eyes, and just listen to what I'm saying. People wish they could do the impossible. Good news: it's not possible, it's just uncomfortable! But even if you listen to more and more, your mind adapts, Zooms in your focus, you can get better at in seconds! You're not listening at 2.25 times the normal speed, imagine being able to listen to an audiobook or something you want to do in half the time, like this video!
