Rear-Facing Installation | Graco SlimFit Car Seat

This is how to install a Graco 3-in-1 slim fit into your car in a rear-facing position. Before you get started, important thing. I wish someone would have told me about this. This protects the seat of your car. Let me show you an image of what happens if you do not use this in your car. This is what we did for the first four years of life. You just put it on and that'll protect your car from being damaged. If you ever want to sell it later. In your car, you're going to find two metal things in the seat. I love it So you take this latch and you're going to put it on that little bar thing that we talked about. And so again, feel for it and then put it under until you hear a little click, right? That it caught. The other side, there's going to be a place where you can loosen it. So I have my other latch over here. I'm putting it in right now. There's the click. Alright? And then there's this little piece where you can tighten everything up. So you want to pull it as hard as you can to make sure that the kids are safe. So it's still moving around a lot. So what I would suggest is just press down on the car seat while you pull this up. It's pretty snug. And you also want to make sure that when your kid is in where you see that back part is the kid's shoulder should be above it. The way you adjust the straps here for the kids is that there's this red button and you use this to go up and down.
